LOOSE, ROOTSY ROCK AT THE RED TILL

Since the early days of "The Wreckery" and "The Reptiles"

Nick Barker has released seven solo albums.

Despite it's title, Black Water Blues, Barker's latest solo release is actually one hell

of a ride of dynamic passionate energy, combining joyous rock with the classiest of country leanings.

Nick takes a break from his busy OZ touring commitment with “The Ultimate Jam Session” production

for an intimate gig at “The Red Till”

143A Great Ocean Rd in Anglesea. Friday 28th Jan.

Show kicks off around 7’ish.

Backing Barker is Anglesea local Mick Barclay (ex Paul Kelly & The Messengers &

Weddings Parties Anything) on drums.

Alan Brooker (ex Dots) on bass.

With the calibre of these 3 musicians, you're guaranteed to experience a great gig!

BIG CROWDS SUPPORT THE NIGHTJAR MARKET

The NightJar Market is independently run by three local artists Mark Trinham, Kyla Vinton and Lyndelle Flintoft. The three artists developed the concept and got it off the ground with assistance from a small handful of family, volunteers and employees. A big thanks should go out to all the NightJar team!!
Surf Coast Arts Inc have provided them with the funds to pay the Muso's. (SCArts is a volunteer run arts organisation of artists and arts appreciators).
The NightJar Market is NOT organised OR funded by the Surfcoast Shire, like a lot of people think it is.
That is why they need all the sponsorship and donations they can get to help fund it's future.

This is the first year of the NightJar Market and already has proved to be a huge success
with around 4-5,000 people attending on each of two nights so far.
Obviously a well needed community gathering.

The plan is to run for four Thursdays in Jan, but have extended into the first week in Feb to make up for
the 'wash-out' on Jan 13.

There are approx 70 stalls in total, 20 of which are food stalls.
And judging by the ques lining up for a feed, it was all great.

The good news is 2012 will be a goer!!!
